Use the Dog 1/2 button on the side of the remote and slide up to select Dog 1 or 2. Turn off the collar by pressing and holding the On/Off button for 3 seconds. Press and hold the On/Off button on the collar for 3 seconds until the solid green LED blinks slowly red and green. Release the On/Off button. Then, press and hold the tone and vibration buttons on the remote simultaneously for 3 seconds. The green LED on the collar will blink 3 times to indicate that pairing is now complete and the trainer is ready to use.

Collar is water resistant, The remote is not as waterproof as the collar (IPX5 rating -stream of water) for the remote and IPX 7 for the collar (Up to 1 meter for 30 minutes))

“The range on my device is shortened. How do I fix?”

Determine the range they are getting. Full range is at ideal conditions (line of sight, no radio interference, no large obstructions, etc.). Areas with interference and/or obstructions will have reduced range. Confirm power. 2-3 hour charge for both units if not charged within the past week or first time issue. Confirm how it is being used/tested. It is best to point the antenna upwards towards the sky (Statue of Liberty position). The collar should ideally be tested for range with someone else holding the collar while powered on and walking away. Are you pressing and holding the Action Button when testing? There is a safety timeout feature which prevents the collar from activating for more than ten continuous seconds. Instead of holding, repeatedly press and release the Action Button while walking away from the collar. The initial charge for both devices takes 4 hours. Subsequent charges take 2-3 hours. Excessive charging can shorten battery life. Only charge your remote or collar when the batteries are low.
