Amazing smell and results! It’s like refresh in a bottle! It is something I like to use but I feel my curl products are needed to be prioritized due to my hair type otherwise I would really rely on this to keep my hair looking salon fresh!!

So happy to have received a complimentary tube of John Frieda’s Salon Blonde Refresh Toner, in return for my honest review. The color I chose to review was the champagne blonde. The application is extremely simple to follow, with easily understood directions. The scent of the product is light, but not unlike other John Frieda products I’ve tried in the past. And this product does not come out runny, nor is it as thick as lotion. More typical to regular shampoo. As I continue to test this out to see if it is indeed lightening up my hair, I can more attest to how well it works. However, after my first application, there was a noticeable light and shine on my strands. This at home version of a professional John Frieda hair toner is such a good product, I look forward to purchasing more and recommending friends and family purchasing some in the near future! I received this as a sample and was eager to give it a try. To say I was happy with the product would be an understatement. It works so well on my hair! After using it once, my hair felt soft, smooth, and frizz-free. I was also able to comb it without tangles, and the scent was really nice. After a few washes, I caught a glimpse of myself in a mirror and noticed that the brassiness of my hair was gone; it now looked shiny and back to my "normal" shade of blonde. As soon as I got home that night, I ordered more to keep in my beauty routine stash. Love this stuff!

I picked these up to help refresh my blonde between salon appointments, and overall they’ve been easy to use. The toner is much less intimidating than a full at-home coloring process, and it gave my hair a fresher, brighter look without a lot of effort.
I noticed it helped tone down some of the brassiness that naturally starts to creep in after a while. The effect wasn’t dramatic or salon-level, but it was enough to make my blonde look cleaner and more refreshed.
One thing I appreciated was that my hair didn’t feel overly dry afterward. Some toning products can leave my hair feeling rough, but this was fairly gentle and easy to incorporate into my normal hair-care routine.

I love all things John Frieda and I've been using the products on my hair for years. My hair is blonde and I use the blonde line, but I'll still sometimes notice that my hair needs a kickstart. I spend a lot of time in the ocean and the pool. The salt and chlorine and sand will stress my hair out. I swear by this Blonde Refresh Toner. It's like the feeling of leaving the salon. New hair!!!
